Recorded in a little sidestreet in cartegena, murcia, spain where there are lots of little bars and cafes. There are lots of people walking about and you hear a few words of passing conversations. There's a busker in the distance. Recorded on a zoom h1 with custom made microphones hanging out of a backpack.

This is a sound effect of one of the chickens on my farm. As far as i know, it means that a chicken wants to lay an egg (or is happy and content). These guineafowl woke me up at 6am so i had nothing better to do than record them. A little cleanup and noise removal.

A uniden phone recorded with a consumer camera with built in microphone, (sony-cybershot). This was listened to on a television set and it sounds like the actual thing! on the computer it doesnt sound anything like the real thing. You're welcome and good luck using this sound.

This is the sound of seagulls, ducks and other water birds competing with gigantic carp fish, and each other, for food on lake mead. It starts mellow and and grows into a full-blown frenzy with lots of calling, quacking, chirping, splashing, thrashing and slurping (from the fish). The hoover dam isn't far from this lake, so tourist helicopters occasionally pass by. I hope you all like it. :).

An interesting recording of birds, led by blue jays, doing their alarm calls. I was in the middle of the woods when i noticed that the birds seemed to be alarmed like there was a predator nearby and sure enough, i finally spotted a big barred owl sitting high in a tree about 50 yards from my recorder. Pretty amazing how the bird community sounds the alarm.

Here is the sunset and those voices are getting mixed all together with horns and motors, birds and some city noises. Mics are set on a high-roof so that we have an aerien feeling. Walking down a nature trail during a late summer evening. A lot of leaves crunching under foot with a bird calling continuously in the background. Insects, primarily crickets can be heard throughout the entire clip. Recorded with a sony ic recorder in southeast usa.

A group of 8 troops went into battle and came across an unknown terrifying enemy,with all their might they attempt to defend themselves.

I recorded this muezzin during my stay in abu dhabi. It was the mosque close to the hotel i stayed in. It is the noon-time-prayer. Abu dhabi has a lot of hihgrisers. This sound was recorded via the use of a behringer b2 microphone, fostex fr2 and a home made parabolic reflector made from a tv satellite dish. The source of the sound was between 100m-200m away from the microphone. This has been eq'ed with high-end shelving to reduce gain noise, low-end shelved up to 1khz (to reduce wind and background noise) and the overall gain has been increased.
